Booking of Event Presenters

HOURS Part-time, Weekdays

This is a telecommute position. Work is performed independently by telephone and computer.

Our goal is to preserve and promote spiritual arts in a non-religious setting. To accomplish that end, we offers classes workshops, seminars and special events featuring exceptional presenters. These outstanding presenters promote the discovery, development and support by sharing their knowledge of diverse topics, such as intuitive development, mediumship development, meditation, a variety of healing modalities, personal growth, exploring the frontiers of consciousness, as well as other subjects.

Job Description

Responsible for obtaining presenters and event facilitators (Presenters) for The Spirit University (TSU). This includes identifying potential Presenters, inviting them to host an event at TSU, and arranging scheduling and specifics for Presenter’s event.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in the Presenter evaluation process. Identify potential presenter opportunities.
  • Draft a proposal letter to gain the hosting of an event by Presenter at TSU.
  • Build rapport with Presenters. Able to build strong relationships is a must. Be good at networking.
  • Negotiate terms for Presenters including events descriptions, payments, transportation and lodging if applicable, and items to be provided by TSU for Presenter during the event.
  • Collaborate with Presenter and TSU staff to deploy marketing strategies that ensure and generate ticket sales and event success.

Skills Needed

  1. Knowledge of TSU industry genre. Know which Presenters are popular or trendy.
  2. Have knowledge of marketing, presenter management, sales, negotiation, and similar areas.
  3. Be comfortable talking to Presenters and agents.
  4. Evaluate the talent of potential presenters.
  5. Offer opportunity to potential presenters using sales skills.
  6. Be proficient in Microsoft Office and Email.
  7. Prefer a bachelor’s or associate’s degree in management, marketing, or business, or sufficient experience.
