She is best known for her readings of Josephine\, and Napoleon. She predicted his rise to\, and fall from power. The Lenormand uses only 36 cards\, as opposed to the 78 cards in the tarot\, and there are no reversals. \nIn this lively\, and entertaining class\, you will learn a quick way to begin to read. You will be reading the cards immediately\, and you will be confidently reading for yourself\, as well as for your fellow classmates. This immersive course is easy\, interactive\, and fun. You begin looking at the cards intuitively\, instead of spending hours memorizing lists of boring meanings.\n• Uncover the simple meanings of the cards.\n• Discover how placement affects the strength of the card.\n• Master the various ways to read a group of cards.\n• Sense how card meanings can change with the other cards nearby.\n• Grasp the many variations of a simple three-card reading\, before moving on to master the Petit\, and finally the Grand Tableau. \nPlease bring an empty spiral notebook and pen\, or pencil\, to begin to create your Lenormand journal. DESCRIPTION:We initiate laughter as exercise along with child-like playfulness. We combine it with yogic breathing (Pranayama) which helps to oxygenate the blood. Affirmations are used to focus on positive thoughts and beliefs. Recent studies have confirmed that affirmations have improved the lives of people of all ages and backgrounds. The simple act of focusing on the sources of meaning and purpose in our lives is incredibly effective at lowering defenses and changing behavior. Facilitator Jean Marcley uses the affirmations between laughter exercises when our minds and hearts are open to receive and during the closing meditation.
