2. Life After Loss: Finding Hope and Conquering Grief
If you could catch a glimpse of eternity what do you think you would see? Dr. Raymond Moody has spent his entire life investigating what happens when we die and how those who are left behind can effectively grieve the loss. He wrote the international bestseller, “Life After Life” which has changed the way we perceive dying. He was the first medical doctor to study the near-death experience, by closely examining thousands of stories of people who had died and returned to life.
In this presentation, Dr. Moody will share his research on death and dying and the supernatural experiences of those left behind. Many people have reported waking up in the middle of the night with a sensation that their loved one has just died, only to discover the following day that, indeed, they had. Or, that family members accompany their dying loved one into another realm, only later to return to their bodies.
Exploring the research that consciousness continues at the moment of death offers comfort, hope and inspiration to those who are coping with the loss of a loved one, and giving us a new understanding of the journey that we will take at the end of our lives.
