Become one with the rhythm of the drums!  At this social and spiritual event, we are celebrating life, unity, and the positive energies of the full moon.  Come and learn the basics of improvisational drumming!  Feel free to bring your own drum or other percussion instrument so you can get with the vibration in whatever way feels best for you.  Each phase of the moon brings change and renewal. Invite harmony and positive changes into your life at this casual, fun festivity.  This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know our students and teachers.  We will begin with a mixer at 7pm for all who would like to socialize, and the drum circle will be from 8pm to 9pm. This full moon is what is known as the Pink Moon. The Pink Moon was named for the pink flowers that bloom in early spring. This is the perfect time for you to blossom and encourage new growth in your life!

In our Western culture, dysfunctional families are raised within a maze of undercurrents and adages used to keep us in a role of performing the self-diminishing behaviors needed to cover for our parents unconsciously believed inadequacies. Do you find yourself constantly stressed out by money? When I was a little girl, we didn’t have a lot of money.  In fact, at times we were even on food stamps.  That was hard on my ego, and made me embarrassed.  I vowed never to have to be so poor in my adult life.  I worked my way through engineering school, got a “good job,” in a nice, stable, “you can retire from here” sort of position. While I enjoyed the work, I knew my life path was somewhere else.  And I knew that the field I was going into was rumored to be a lot less profitable than the one I came from.  I chose my healing career out of love for it. And yet money is part of the health of life, and an important one because that’s what lets us keep doing what we love.  It’s also what affords us training, so that we can get better and better at it. Money doesn’t have to be difficult and strenuous.  BUT if we have some inherent energy glitches, they can interrupt the smooth flow of “Green Qi” into our pockets.
