    An ongoing introductory class with eight weeks of rotation topics to cover Ways of Knowing, The Energetic Body, The Akashic Field, Meditation, Guides and Guidance, Universal Laws and The Importance of Breath.   • Lift Your Spirits – Social Event

    You are invited to socialize, mix and mingle! Have you ever wondered about the spiritual world? Let’s get to know one another in an informal setting. Get together with others who share your interests, in a casual atmosphere over tea, coffee or drinks. Network, build friendships, compare experiences, learn and engage with others in the Spirit community. Discuss your goals. Talk with facilitators, staff or students to find out more about The Spirit University. You may even discover interests you didn’t even know you had!   • An Evening of Reiki Healing

    The Spirit University 373 Braden Ave, Sarasota

    Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. These brief sessions are offered through non-touch, with the practitioner's hands placed and held on a series of locations on the head and front of the torso and sometimes limbs to a fully clothed recipient. "I feel very refreshed and seem to be thinking more clearly." "I think I fell asleep." "I can't believe how hot your hands got!" "I feel relaxed." "My headache is gone." These are some of things people typically say after a Reiki session. If you have never experienced Reiki now is the time to try it. Facilitated by Barbara Harrison.
