Beverly Gordon


Beverly Gordon is a retired university professor, and an active artist, writer, healer, and workshop leader. She taught for 30 years in the Design Studies Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison on matters relating to textiles, design (the things people make) and culture. She has published extensively. In retirement, Beverly is focusing on art-making, hospice work, and leading workshops that help participants access and connect more deeply with their inner guidance. She is passionate about “deep seeing” and appreciation of both the material and inner worlds. Her art involves collage and assemblage sculpture made with natural detritus such as bone, shell, kelp, and pods.
