Her journey has been one of adventure, transformation, and deep spiritual exploration. Growing up in San Diego, CA, she earned her degree at UCSD before launching a successful career in advertising. However, a desire for something more led her to become a teacher and embark on a new chapter in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
On the island of St. John, a mecca for spiritual seekers, Dorothy immersed herself in a variety of healing and spiritual modalities, deepening her understanding of energy work and holistic wellness. After meeting her soon-to-be husband, they sold the boat they lived on and made a life-changing move to Florida.
Dorothy’s passion for teaching flourished as an elementary and middle school educator on both the east and west coasts of Florida. Alongside her work in education, she discovered her true calling in energy healing, eventually becoming a Reiki Master Teacher. Today, she is dedicated to helping others heal and grow through Reiki, working with individual clients, teaching classes, and leading community Reiki shares at no charge.
Her commitment to service extends beyond the classroom—Dorothy actively provides Reiki to veterans and their families, helping to bring balance, relaxation, and healing to those who need it most.
With a heart-centered approach and years of experience, Dorothy continues to share her wisdom, guiding others on their own journey toward healing, empowerment, and inner peace.
