Something beautiful has been taking shape at The Spirit University.
During our seasonal break, we have been transforming one of our suites into a new home for art, imagination, hands-on creativity, intuitive exploration, and experiences designed to invite curiosity.
Welcome to The Creative Spirit.

With more than 1,200 square feet devoted to creative experiences, plus an additional 400-square-foot materials and storage area supporting the space, The Creative Spirit gives us room to gather, spread out, experiment, make, explore, and dream a little bigger.
This is not intended to be a traditional art school.
The Creative Spirit is a place for experienced creators, complete beginners, curious souls, and anyone who enjoys making something with their hands, exploring color and symbolism, following an intuitive nudge, learning an unusual craft, or simply trying something they have never done before.
You do not have to consider yourself an artist to belong here.
There is no expectation that everything be perfect. In many of our experiences, there may not even be a “right” result.
Sometimes the joy is in discovering what happens when you begin.

Future experiences may include intuitive and spirit-inspired art, mixed media, seasonal projects, handmade creations, creative discovery, unusual materials, collaborative art, and our new Unexpected Art experiences — designed especially for people who are willing to be curious, whether or not they think of themselves as artistic.
Some programs will be meaningful.
Some whimsical.
Some intuitive.
Some beautifully practical.
And some may simply be great fun.
That is exactly what The Creative Spirit is meant to be.

We hope The Creative Spirit becomes a place where people feel comfortable experimenting, meeting others, learning something new, and discovering forms of creativity they may not have explored before.
