Experience the healing, power, and magic of drumming used during ancient times.  The ancient art of drumming has been used in many cultures for sacred ceremonies, healing and rites of passages.  We will explore the historical and cultural use of the drum and how it was used to empower the human spirit during ancient times.  We will examine a time in history when the primary drummers were women and how the music of drumming creates a connection to the divine.  Drumming can be done with little or no previous musical background or training.  The ability to drum is in all of us.  If you have a drum, please bring it with you.  If not, we will provide a drum for your use during this class.   Join us for an afternoon of energizing rhythm and fun.
