    Did you know studies have shown that laughing for at least fifteen minutes can add just about 2 whole days to your lifespan? Now imagine what a whole week of laughter could do! Laughter has been a proven stress management tool which can aid us in relieving pain, reducing blood pressure, decreasing stress, and boosting the immune system – so no wonder it has life lengthening super powers! From January 21st-26th we will be celebrating and experiencing the joyful phenomenon that is laughter! With a lengthy list of giggle fueled workshops and chuckle packed events with Laugh Experts such as Christine Alexander, Josie Melcher, Edward Russell, and Ed Foote, you’re sure to leave with your spirits lifted and that ole cackle perfected.     This improv class is a high-energy, interactive, courageous, hilarious learning experience that brings people together as well as fosters creative and quick thinking. It's great for people who need more laughter in their lives for fun or for healing. Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move in, as well as comfortable shoes (no flip flops).  Instructor Christine Alexander is a master teaching artist, improvising cutting-edge comedy for almost two decades.     The therapeutic use of the gong vibrations and Tibetan singing bowls is an ancient tradition originating in the far east and is used to awaken, refresh, and relax the listener. A spiritual truth is that we are all meant to be happy. This inspirational talk will examine how we can achieve true happiness, how to remove the roadblocks we inadvertently use to block our path, and how we can guarantee ourselves to have a happy day every day. The information comes from the book entitles A Course in Miracles. A brief introduction of the book, including its history, will be given.
