  • The Art of Evidential Mediumship II: Platform/Gallery Performance

    The Spirit University 373 Braden Ave, Sarasota

    - New Dates Added -  Wedesdays, Oct. 8, 15, 22, 29, Nov 5, 12, 19 Platform/Gallery Mediumship is an art form, involving not only mediumship ability but also performance presentation, etiquette, and other public demonstration skills. This informational workshop offers an in-depth exploration of Platform/Gallery mediumship, providing time for demonstration and participation. This is a great opportunity to develop and enrich your current mediumship repertoire. (Shanna has taught this workshop at Lily Dale several times under the title From the Front.) Pre-requisite: The Art of Evidential Mediumship I: Private Reading - or - permission of the instructor. Please Note: New students not admitted after the first class without permission of the instructor.

  • Paranormal Investigation at Haunted Theater

    At right: During a recent investigation, a flashlight turned on by itself with no help from anyone ... well, no *corporeal" help, anyway!  Join members of ESP El Con Society of the Paranormal and also Ghost Hunters SRQ as they venture into a location known for it's paranormal activity. Both ghost hunter groups are equipped with a variety of sensitive electronic equipment to record EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena), photograph orbs, and more. There will be a brief talk and Q&A by an experienced paranormal investigator, table tipping and exploration other methods of proving communication.   • Psychic Detective Workshop

    The Spirit University 373 Braden Ave, Sarasota

    Through this work shop, participants will learn some of the techniques for tuning in to energies of the victims and perpetrators, how to tune your energies to the crime scenes and help to solve the crimes.  Exercises provided for participants to be a crime detective! By using info that is released and available to the public, participants will be shown how to identify the victim’s energies (dead or alive), how to get info energetically from the crime scene, and more. Dr. Kolbenschlag says, “This can be a fun class. I always love psychic detectives.  Criminology was my minor at the USF, and I was taught by the detective of the police academy.  Currently, I work as a medium, but I also work at the Sheriff’s Department, handling criminals.” Dr. Kolbenschlag was trained by Nancy Weber–a psychic detective who is awarded a Sheriff’s badge, has had her TV show “Psychic Detective.” She has worked multiple cases when she brought actual cases from the victims’ families to solve the crime.
