How Do You Wish To Be Remembered?

13 November, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST
$25 – $30

tombstone colorAn Interactive and Reflective Workshop

Each of us, at one time or another, have pondered our life’s journey. Where am I going? Why have I been where I’ve been? Whose lives have I touched? What am I leaving behind in my place? Your life, just as your legacy, is in your own hands. This workshop is designed to help you get a better understanding of these questions AND the answers as well. And, through your own words and feelings, begin enhancing, or even creating, a legacy fully representing the wonder that is distinctly YOU.

This workshop stems, believe it or not, from Charles’ lifelong fascination of cemeteries. He admittedly spends far too much time perusing them for inspiration and education with a devoted fascination. “The history—the emotional history—I find is staggering,” says Filius. “Gravesites can often be highly personal and hauntingly beautiful.” He will be showing a series of photographs he has taken of some of his more thought-provoking finds over the years. Some are beautiful, while others can be unsettling. Some border on the curious and unusual while others are just laugh out loud funny. This review will get the ball rolling as we explore, alone and as a group, how we perceive ourselves and how others may perceive us.

Each attendee will receive a small journal designed to make you think and reflect upon your own steps along your path. Are you the type to leave titillating morsels along your way, luring people to follow? Or do you tend to hide the gems for others to unearth and re-discover? It will even let you voice your own views of yourself over time. Our perceptions of everything and everyone changes, so what makes you think you’re self-sight won’t change over and over again as well? You won’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind workshop!
