The Spirit University cordially invites you to our first annual Unity in Spirit networking & conversations gathering! This event is to connect the different spiritual centers here in Sarasota and Manatee Counties, exchange ideas, do some networking, break down barriers, and work together to build a brighter future. Being a part of a broader community is a great way to bring people together and help them find their higher purpose. With this event we hope to encourage directors/owners of spiritual development centers to not only educate one another on their work, but to come together and see what we have in common to help each other. You will meet others who you may follow a path akin to yours or learn something that is completely new. You may discover new techniques and ideas to work into your own teachings/practices, or ways to fine-tune what you already have going. All are welcome. Hosted by The Spirit University and Whole You Magazine, this is a business luncheon and discussion to explore possible business solutions for growth, company exposure and out of the box ideas. Your host will be Shirley Smolko, who holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, a Master’s in Business Administration, and an additional Master’s in the Science of Accounting. She will present these possibilities with you. Each month will have a different topic of discussion that is designed to enhance your business. We will be meeting on the third Thursday of each month. Reiki 2 teaches distance healing in order to bridge the span of space and time.  Learn unique methods of sending Reiki including use of crystals and photographs.  Students will be granted Level 2 symbols and additional energy centers will be accessed with Level 2 attunements. A concise section on animal healing is included.  Time will be alloted for hands on practice.  The class will begin with a short review of Reiki 1 fundamentals. Wear comfortable clothing.  Prerequisite is Reiki 1 Certification. Class size is limited, so pre-registration is required.  With Barbara Harrison.

This event will be held directly after the Sunday Celebration (held from 10:30am to 12:00pm). Bring your instruments if you wish to join in.
