  • Traditional “Home Circle” -Evidential Mediumship

    Spiritualists have sat in home circles since their very beginnings. It was the way they developed their relationship with the spirit and refined their spirit within. Being invited to a "hush, hush" circle was considered a privilege and was respected and honored by the individual who "had the potential" to develop. They were never missed and the commitment by the sitters encouraged the spirits to show up. Joy and enthusiasm for development wooed the spirits! Today, we know that everyone has the potential to develop, and many a developing (as well as well developed) medium still sits in circle. Sitting in circle increases our spiritual abilities and offers the developing and well developed medium alike the opportunity to continue increasing their spiritual gifts and potential. If you are interested in spiritual development and/or medium development then -- welcome!   • Pysanky: Meditation in Art

    Learn the ancient art of Pysanky and the meditative practice of creating your own Pysanka. Discover the ancient symbolism as you create your own talisman of good luck. Participants will learn the techniques of creating a Pysanka, an ancient Ukrainian egg art form. They will learn the history and meanings of the symbols and colors. Each participant can complete 2 eggs. With Marilyn Anderson.

  • SoulCollage Journey: Giving Form to Our Inner Guidance

    Are you hoping to be closer in touch with your own inner wisdom and spirit of guidance? And to do it in an easy, almost magical way? SoulCollage is an exciting and powerful process of working with visual images (cutting and pasting from printed photos -- no particular skill, artistic ability or experience needed) and then using the collages to access information from your own inner self. You develop both intuition and personal imagery. You create cards that function as a personal "deck” made of your own visual symbolic language, which can be used like tarot or other tools for individual exploration. The card-making is satisfying and fun! And, it is a discovery in itself—but it’s only the first part; then you learn to do "readings," to explore what the cards you created have to “say.” The process is direct and delightful. Certain images call to us and show us what they want us to know, and the readings take us to our deepest level of wisdom.     An  experience of movement, meditation, visual art, writing, and witnessing to connect you with your inner wisdom and creativity. Through fun and meaningful interactive arts experiences, you will connect with yourself and others and experience the flow that occurs when you embody images born of your own creative wisdom. Participants will gain an experiential understanding of intermodal expressive arts. They will engage in movement practice, visual art, and writing to explore authentic imagery while exploring both intrapersonal and interpersonal arts processes. With Tamara Teeter Knapp.
